We specifically encourage people from diverse social backgrounds to apply for positions with us. Promoting equal opportunities for all genders is a matter that goes without saying for us.

Internship (ongoing)

The Kunstverein offers students internships (ongoing) in the field of curatorial assistance and art mediation. Interns gain comprehensive insight into the work of an art institution as well as practical experience in the conception, planning and realisation of exhibitions, events and mediation formats. The opportunity to develop your own project is also provided.

Internships are available on both a full-time and part-time basis and, upon agreement, can also be carried out remotely in part. The duration is usually three months, with a minimum of two months. In the case of a mandatory internship, six months are also possible.

The internship covers the following areas of work:

– Curating and exhibition production
– Event organisation
– administrative management
– Grant management and acquisition
– Art mediation and communication
– Press and public relations

If you are interested, please send your complete application documents (letter of motivation, CV, references and certificate of enrolment, if applicable) to: Hendrike Nagel (Artistic & Managing Director).
