In the first few years after the founding of the association in 2002, exhibitions were initially held at various locations, such as vacant shop premises or in the Dom. In order to consolidate the work of the Kunstverein [art association], the former industrial halls of the municipal power plant (E-Werk) built in 1903 on Pfaffenteich were converted. After careful restoration of the listed building, 250 square metres of exhibition space as well as office and storage rooms were created in the former workshop halls.

The association’s premises are primarily for members, who may book them for smaller events and functions by prior arrangement.
